Medical Laboratory Technology is a branch of medical science that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of patients using medical laboratory tests. Samples of blood, urine, stool, etc. are collected from patients and then tests are conducted to determine the disease in the patient’s body. Medical Laboratory Technology is an example of applied science which mainly focuses on conducting tests and acquiring results.
